I would highly recommend houseready.ie to anyone planning to renovate their premises. Last year I had my house painted for the first time in twenty years. Garret’s preparation work was to a very high professional standard which resulted in an overall excellent finish to all surfaces.
He consulted with me on colour changes to the house and created a new planting scheme for my garden. He exercised good working practices at all times and complied with all on-site safety regulations and delivered a first class job.

With creativity and skill Garret Hayes, Property Transformation Specialist, transformed my small living space into something special. From the front door now sporting its own made-to-measure striped canvas cover to the rear patio with its beautifully designed “hanging garden” no attention to detail was spared.
He combined functionality with clever design as in the bespoke radiator cover and matching air vent cover. His choice of colour for the outside paint work was perfect as was the standard and finish of all the paintwork. Such expertise and high standard of work is a rare find today.
I initially engaged Garret to paint the interior of my house prior to sale. He had many and varied suggestions, built on obvious experience, regarding the enhancement of it to add market value. It became evident, from the first day of work, that Garret was not only passionate about improving my 1980s house, but had every expertise necessary to do so. I recommend listening to his suggestions as he restyled, fixed, finished, repaired, decorated and staged my home to an immaculate standard. The result was a house in tip-top condition, both inside and out, which attracted bidders from the first viewing.
We tasked Garret from houseready.ie with a challenging repair of the frame of our outdoor decking in our back garden. It transpired the whole structure of the frame was rotting away, although there was no evidence of that from the top planks which were all in great condition. No other company would replace just the frame itself. It was replace the whole deck or nothing, which was utterly against our environmental footprint.
Garret removed the old frame and made a new made-to-measure one. He saved all the top planks and reused them without changing the original dimensions or design of the deck. We were very pleased with his capable craftsmanship and the end result. He is a man of many talents and was neat and tidy in all his work. The quality of his finish was very professional. Garret was fully trustworthy around the house and we were very happy for him to working our home as we came and went.
Over the years, I have had several people doing work on my house both inside and out. Most were okay, some were awful, and a few stood out as being pretty good.
